It is unacceptable to say, "Although the risk is rare, if it happens to you, you will have no chance if you want to give birth in a midwife-led unit with no paediatric back-up and no consultant back-up." We have introduced a health care burden to assist national health service trusts when selling land. Following consultation with the Law Society of Scotland, we have simplified the process of obtaining acquiescence to a breach of a burden.
