Report on the Cost-effectiveness of Scottish Public Inquiries - Building up the alternative
There remains a lack of clarity and openness around the decision-making process leading up to the announcement of a public inquiry. We seek further development of the Scottish Government guidance for Ministers, to provide a clear framework for decision-making and bring much needed transparency and consistency to the process.
