To ask the Scottish Executive how many applications for the construction or development of hill tracks have been made to Scottish Natural Heritage and local authorities in each of the last five years.
To ask the Scottish Executive on what evidence it disregarded the advice of the UK Government’s Ports Policy Division recommending that Rosyth should not become a national development We have received no representations from the UK Government on the status of Rosyth.
To ask the Scottish Executive when it expects the procurement competition for the replacement Forth crossing to occur. The current programme for the development of the project envisages a procurement competition in 2010 leading to the appointment of a constructor in 2011.
To ask the Scottish Executive on how many occasions since 1990 it has overturned local authorities’ decisions not to allow a development where there were sustained objections from the Scottish Environment Protection Agency.
To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will investigate why the leadership of Fife Council will not meet the Rosyth Waterfront Liaison Group to consider the proposed £500 million development for Rosyth. This is a matter for Fife Council.

We are working withrepresentatives of the pig sector to identify appropriate support measures. An optionspaper is being developed and we expect to take decisions soon.
