I am glad that there will be a statutory code of practice on stop and search. Perhaps there will be clarity on that issue, as young people are sometimes stopped and searched because there is a child protection issue.

One is to recommend to Ofgem that it should encourage the code modification to be raised. Codes are a rather obscure area of the overall regulatory framework; they are the detailed rules that set out who does what.
