Wildlife bill SG response to Stage 1 report
As the muirburn code would be central to the muirburn licensing scheme, the Committee believes that further information about the updated muirburn code would inform the Parliament’s consideration of the Bill.

Wildlife Management and Muirburn (Scotland) Bill - Section 12 - Muirburn licences: content and conditions
This section also provides that a person granted a licence to make muirburn must 'have regard to' the Muirburn Code.
