I am sure that all members will work positively towards getting the bill through the Parliament as quickly as possible. Towards the end of her speech, Linda Fabiani raised a pertinent issue, which echoed points that other members made: female genital mutilation is not an issue for women alone; it is also an issue for men in a number of respects.
