Convener to DR_Right to Addiction Recovery Bill
Section 6(5) states that the public bodies mentioned in section 4(2) must comply with the code of practice. As it is currently unclear what regulations under section 4 will look like, it is difficult to say how significant the information included in the code of practice is likely to be.

For that reason, the committee must conclude that Jackson Carlaw MSP breached section 13(1) of the 2006 act and paragraphs 6 to 8 of section 2 of the code of conduct for MSPs. The committee therefore agrees with the commissioner’s findings in fact and conclusion that Jackson Carlaw’s conduct in not declaring a financial interest breached the 2006 act and the code.

Stage 1 report on the Agriculture and Rural Communities (Scotland) Bill - Section 26 - code of practice on sustainable and regenerative agriculture (with reference to Section 7 - guidance)
Section 26 provides the code must be reviewed at least every five years and that the Scottish Ministers must consult before publishing a code or revised code.
