I want to ask about the statutory code of ethics for policing. You stated that positive consideration will be given to the recommendation that the code could be underpinned in statute.
I hope that the information in the code of practice that guides appointment of board members is helpful, but we do not have direct involvement in appointing boards, nor do we have oversight of the process.
Monica Lennon is right in saying that it can be very uncomfortable to have to ask for a key or a code. Sanitation is a basic human right, and, if we are not providing that in 21st century Scotland, we need to have a good look at ourselves.
