By going for the London Olympics in 2012 and depriving sport of its essential funding to do so, we are doing a great disservice to all the young athletes who might get to the Olympics in London or elsewhere in 2016 or 2020. I thank my colleague Frank McAveety for giving me the opportunity to contribute, as I am not the minister responsible for the subject.
