P ART 4 F INAL PROVISIONS 10 45 Ancillary provision 1 The Scottish Ministers may by regulations make any incidental, supplementary, consequential, transitional, transitory or saving provision they consider appropriate for the purposes of, or in connection with, or for giving full effect to this Act or any provision made under it. 15 46 Regulation-making powers (1) A power to make regulations conferred by this Act includes the power to make different provision for different purposes and areas. (2) Regulations under— (aa) any of the following provisions may modify any enactment other than this Act: 20 sections 43C, 43D, 13(1) and 13A, (b) section 45 may modify any enactment including this Act. (2A) Regulations under any of the following provisions are subject to the negative procedure: sections 13(3)(d) and 13G(4)(a)(ii). (3) Regulations under any of the following provisions are subject to the affirmative 25 procedure: sections 36, 37B and 37C, 43C, 43D, 13(1), 13A, 13C. (5) Regulations under section 45— (a) are subject to the affirmative procedure if they add to, replace or omit any part of the text of an Act, but (b) otherwise, are subject to the negative procedure. 30 47 Commencement (1A) The following come into force on the day after Royal Assent: section 13B and this Part. (2) The other provisions of this Act come into force on such day as the Scottish Ministers may by regulations appoint. 48 Short title 35 The short title of this Act is the Care Reform (Scotland) Act 2025.
