The Scottish Executive has not issued guidelines on the timing of determinations following fatal accident inquiries. The length of time required to prepare such a determination is a matter for the judiciary.

To ask the Scottish Executive what mechanism it will use to issue statutory guidance to local authorities in order to improve services for people with dual sensory impairment. Any guidance that is issued following the implementation of the Sensory Impairment Action Plan will be under Section 5(1) of the Social Work (Scotland) Act 1968.
