To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has any plans to license the radio bases of private taxi hire firms. Following representations on this issue, we are considering the merits and practicability of the introduction of licensing in respect of both taxi and private hire car booking offices (radio rooms).
To ask the Scottish Executive what information it has on how many adults and children who are unrelated to each other will be detained in Dungavel House Immigration Removal Centre's shared facilities, following any proposed further extension of the centre.
It is estimated that the wholetime equivalent of up to 300 police officers would eventually be released for otheroperational duties following the full implementation of the contract.

To ask the Scottish Executive how many of the young people referred to each Reporter to the Children's Panel following an alleged assault on a teacher in each of the last five years had special educational needs.
It is the responsibility of the procuring client, Renfrewshire Council in this instance, in any contract toensure that correct tendering procedures are followed. The project is subjectto external audit just as any other procedure would be.
