*S5M-23346 Mary Fee: Trans Day of Remembrance—That the Parliament recognises that 20 November 2020 is Trans Day of Remembrance, an annual day that exists to honour, commemorate and memorialise the lives of trans and gender-diverse people who have been murdered across the globe in the last year; notes that 350 transgender and gender diverse people have been killed in the last year, which is 6% more than in 2019, and that this brings the total number to 3,664 in the last 12 years; understands that 98% of those murdered were trans women or trans feminine people; acknowledges that aggregated data included in a research report by Transrespect versus Transphobia Worldwide indicates that Black and migrant trans women of colour are more vulnerable and frequently targeted; understands that only 5% of trans people under the age of 25 in the UK feel very comfortable being LGBT in the UK and that 48% of trans people under 26 have attempted suicide; understands that data from 2018 found that 41% of trans people in the UK had experienced a hate crime or incident because of their gender identity in the previous 12 months, and that 25% of trans people had directly experienced transphobic abuse online...
