I am sure that the secretary of state will be looking for an explanation of the latest chaos that has engulfed the Scottish tourism industry. Following hard on the heels of the Rod Lynch debacle, and with the industry still reeling from the impact of the foot-and-mouth outbreak, the promotion of that important industry has once again descended into farce.
