The cost about which John Home Robertson inquires is in the region of £1.9 million, although we have yet to receive final figures, due to the assessment process that has to be followed. The benefits of the scheme are widely understood and acknowledged, and he makes an extremely important point about the benefits to people who live in Dalkeith.

I do not remember her actual words, but the minister gave an undertaking to provide the information as soon as reasonably possible. That followed a question that I was allocated about the policy commitment to consider more use of brownfield sites before encroaching on the green belt.
