It is particularly galling that the last sentence of Transport Scotland's response to the committee says that the junction's "adverse effect" on Aberdeenshire Council's housing expansion plans—it has huge expansion plans for Laurencekirk—should be covered by a private developer. In other words, the Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Climate Change will not authorise a grade-separated junction but will leave it to a housing developer to do it.Where do we take the petition?
