I was just going to get on to that subject, but thank you for accepting that you have got an extra half a billion pounds in next year’s budget that you do not have in the current year.
Things are getting worse. I propose extra resources: for primary care, so that mental health professionals can work alongside GPs; for work in accident and emergency and in partnership with the police; and to create extra capacity in child and adolescent services.
It is a simple matter of getting stock and products through customs and, whenever something extra is added, there is the potential for that to add a bureaucratic burden.
