The Scottish Executive has said that, as a result of its policy on right to buy, it believes that, by 2020, only 20 per cent of the housing stock in Scotland will be in the social rented sector and the rest will be owner occupied.
I would like to focus on the Executive's commitment to full employment in Scotland by 2020. I welcome the Executive's recognition that full employment in Scotland is an achievable objective.
Although the Electoral Commission has made recommendations that the system be reviewed, there is already a rigid checklist of things to do at an election. Those instructions were not followed, but there is nothing that can be done about it.
