I suppose your information must be anecdotal, because I do not think that there is research evidence on the difference between England and Scotland. I have worked in hospital medicine and I know that some clinicians bang the drum harder than others do.We operate in a world in which we must set priorities.

A number of pharmaceutical manufacturers have changed their distribution systems and we are aware of the various issues that affect the supply of medicines to community pharmacies. Whilst the method of medicines distribution is a commercial decision for the manufacturer concerned, we would expect patients to continue to receive the medicines they need promptly.
