Rates of disabled and non-disabled employment do not appear to be correlated, either – East Renfrewshire, for instance, has an above-average rate of employment for disabled people, in spite of having one of the lowest non-disabled employment rates in Scotland (51.9% versus 78.4% on average from 2020-2022).
