To ask the Scottish Government what action it is taking to ensure that an increasing use of automation and artificial intelligence over the next decade will increase employment opportunities in Scotland.
It states that “Experience in other countries operating DRS seems to suggest that scheme accessibility can best be facilitated through a return to retail model accommodating both manual and automated takeback. The inclusion of small retailers and local shops can help to maximise participation by everyone in both urban and rural communities.”
We received 453 comments from those who were in favour of the Bill, and 855 from those who were against the Bill. SPICe carried out automated textual analysis of all comments to identify key themes and words used by respondents in favour of and against the Bill.
