If a new weapon were identified, we would return to Parliament with a new order, using the same procedure that we are using today, to add the weapon to the list.A straightforward procedure is therefore available to the Executive and Parliament should there be concerns about types of weapons that had not previously been considered becoming a problem, and I hope that we would follow that procedure. Essentially, we are specifying weapons under section 141 of the 1988 act.
