The second report was a complaint against Neil Findlay MSP. The complaint was that Neil Findlay made a statement to the press about his intention to make a complaint to the Scottish Parliament's Corporate Body against another MSP.
Bill Kidd MSP explained that the amendment was in response to Stage 1 evidence about the need for the new committee to represent a range of skills and experience.
The rules state:
There are to be at least 3 but no more than 6 Fund trustees;
The Scottish Parliament may resolve to appoint as a Fund trustee any individual nominated by the SPCB as suitable to hold that office;
The SPCB must, when deciding who to nominate—
(a) do its best to ensure that the Fund trustees include a participating member and a scheme pensioner, and
(b) have regard to any recommendation by the incumbent Fund trustees.

Introduction
The Committee met on 7 and 14 September 2017 to consider a complaint from Councillor David Aitchison about Alexander Burnett MSP.
