To answer your question specifically, there are always ways and means in terms of codes of practice. As you know, there is legislation elsewhere in the Scottish Parliament whereby we make codes of practice conditional or statutorily establish codes of practice.

It is very clear about appropriate reporting through established procedures of any concern about the possible abuse of a vulnerable person. The code of practice states that if a conflict of interests exists, the worker must disclose it.
