That is one of the reasons why I cannot support the motion. Still, the Conservatives may have allies in new Labour. Janis Hughes mentioned what the Tories have done; however, the Tory motion may find favour with new Labour members, who also want to establish foundation hospitals—a Tory idea.

I understand that an appeal was lodged with NICE and was heard on Friday last week. It may be some time before the results are produced but, as an eternal optimist, I will assume for a moment that the appeal succeeds, in which case Alimta will continue to be prescribed.
