I sympathise with the police but, like Mr Mackie, I suggest that we may need to examine what is happening in the hospitals and what drugs psychiatrists are prescribing.I fully recognise that the Parliament dealt with the issue, at least in part, in the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003.
