I understand that that is UK legislation that applies to England and Wales and that Lothian NHS Board has advised Sue Ryder Care that the legislation does not apply to Binny House.I am not aware of any substantial problem with Binny House. Over the years, there may need to be a change in how service is delivered there.

We were told that, in England, people in that situation tend to be unemployed, whereas in Scotland, even someone whose literacy is not great may still be employed. I found that quite interesting.
