The Scottish Government has indicated the instrument will align with a UK Statutory Instrument (UKSI) iLetter from the Minister for Agriculture and Connectivity regarding the UKSI Official Controls (Extension of Transitional Periods) and Plant Health (Frequency of Checks) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2024, 2 September 2024. being laid that proposes to extend transition arrangements for import checks on certain plant and animal products.
