The strategy was published on 23 July 2002 by the Scottish Executive, UK Government and the devolved administrations for Wales and Northern Ireland and is available on the Scottish Executive website:www.scotland.gov.uk/publications.The strategy demonstrates how the UK will achieve substantial reductions in radioactive discharges to the marine environment in the period up to 2020, in order to implement agreements reached at the 1998 Ministerial meeting and subsequent meetings of the OSPAR Commission.
