At the start of this session, the partnership committed itself to bringing forward a crofting reform bill as a continuation of the established commitment to a programme of significant land reform measures.
There are umpteen outlets and it is possible that each of the people who are responsible for those programmes will have different opinions about timetabling and business.
Does the Executive intend to encourage local authorities to maximise capital receipts by helping with capital programmes? What guidance or assistance for local authorities might the Executive consider?
It is only one part—although an essential one—of the way in which we are assisting authorities to deliver the local services that are important to communities.
