Section 22A(3) provides that the effective date for an order under section 22A is the first date rent is normally due to be paid at least 14 days after the date of the rent officer's order.
I am not supporting him at all, but it is no wonder that people get fed up with Government when nothing happens for years after the date by which people were promised that things would happen.
On undue influence, is there agreement that the law is out of date and that change is needed? The change would be the subject of consultation of the public and others.
