We are analysing the Bill – the implications of which need some working through – and will lodge an LCM as soon as possible after the start of Summer recess. My officials will keep in contact with yours regarding anticipated timescales for its lodging.
We hope to pick up these issues with you at some point before summer recess. In the meantime, however, I have asked the committee clerks and SPICe researchers to explore some of the detail relating to the bill’s implementation with Scottish Government officials and they will be in touch with your officials separately.
