UK Government reviews of Retained EU law Last year the UK Government announced two reviews of retained EU law – one on substance and one on status. There has been little detail to date on these reviews. The UK Government’s briefing notes for the Queen’s Speech detail that “The Government’s review of retained EU law has, to date, identified over 1,400 pieces of EU-derived law that have been transferred into UK law.”
