Members of the Scottish Parliament are fortunate in having a recess in October, but many members of the public have to do the long haul from the summer to Christmas without having a holiday.

As amended, regulation 3(2) of the principal regulations specifies 15 September in each year as the date by which the information that is specified in the paragraphs of the schedule must be provided.
