That makes it all the more important that the committee should, after the recess, carry out an inquiry within a short time scale during which we can take evidence.
I make no criticism of the convener for agreeing to speak at such a conference, but I would expect us to be kept informed—perhaps the recess had something to do with why we were not informed.

To ask the Scottish Executive how, and with whom, it will undertake informal consultation during the summer recess before publishing a consultation paper on the establishment of a national correctional agency.

The Holyrood model is scheduled to be updated before the end of the summer recess period. The Public Information service will consider the feasibility of adapting the stand during this process.
