Sadly, there have been more deaths since the tragic and preventable deaths of Katie Allan and William Lindsay Brown. Now is the time to adopt all the recommendations, which the Government has done, and to go beyond them and use them as the basis for whole-system change.

I am not in a position to answer Mr Brown’s question today. We really need to await the outcome of the public inquiry, which has been on-going for many years now, and we would need to understand what the outcome would be of any particular investigation that the UK authorities are involved in looking at.
