Very few employers reach it, whether they be Government departments or other employers. If, to date, we have failed completely to convince employers to do that, how will we convince them to go further and to employ people at home?
We have discovered that, for some reason that is difficult to work out, when a bingo club closes, up to half of its customers do not adjourn to the nearest bingo club. We are doing an up-to-date survey on that to see whether our old evidence still holds good.
In fact, although it has promised such a strategy since last summer, it is entirely possible that we will get to the summer recess this year still none the wiser about its overall intentions for meeting Scotland's future energy needs.

In his opening statement to the Committee, the Commissioner for Ethical Standards in Public Life in Scotland helpfully set out the most up to date figures in relation to women on regulated boards:
As of September 2017, the percentage of women in regulated posts is 45.8 per cent of the total.
