To ask the Scottish Executive whether the Scottish economy is moving towards recession as technically defined. The Executive does not publish forecasts of GDP growth.
I announced on 30 June that the Scottish Law Commission's draft Bill on the Abolition of the Feudal System would form the basis of legislation to be put to Parliament after the summer recess. It is a matter for the Parliament how the Bill should progress thereafter.
It is aware of the restrictions, such as recessdates and when the office of the clerk is open, that the annual cycle puts on committees and the Executive, and that influences how the timetable is drawn up.

The Holyrood model is scheduled to be updated before the end of the summer recess period. The Public Information service will consider the feasibility of adapting the stand during this process.
It is pleasing to be back before the Communities Committee; I have missed you all over the recess. As the convener indicated, there are some new faces.
