What we can say is that universities in England will probably face exactly the same issues and challenges as will universities in Scotland in relation to the spending review.We want to ensure that, going into a recession, the UK Government recognises that to ensure that we have the best opportunities to come through that recession positively, we need to invest in our competitive sectors.
