It might be said that not implementing the equalities duties has even bigger implications because, in a recession, it is always those at the bottom of the pile who take the biggest kicking.
If members have any thoughts about possible inquiries for after the summer recess, once we have completed the energy inquiry, they should feed in their thoughts as early as possible so that we can start thinking about that.
Are the records kept in a cupboard? Have you got the dates? Is there an overall plan that tells you where the records are and when or whether they can be destroyed?
Are data available on the total number of primary 1 to 3 classes in Scotland and the total number that have a class roll of 18 or fewer at the audit date or the start of the coming school year?
I ask the minister whether he can provide more information at a later date showing how the early years investment will be provided and whether it is being targeted on the areas where the problems are greatest.
