Next Steps Roddy MacDonald and Laura Cunningham will engage to ensure the registration of the Cross-Party Group with the Parliamentary Authority. A date will then be set in September 2021 for the Cross-Party Group to meet.
As I said in March, we are committed to delivering the powers under section 34 of the 2019 Act before the summer recess to enable local authorities to run their own bus services in a way that they see fit within the wider context of their obligations.
