Difficulty in securing earlier UK Ministerial attendance resulted in the summit date of 24 January 2013. In the interim, the Deputy First Minister asked to meet with each of the major energy companies, regarding assistance for vulnerable consumers.

Published waiting times statistics are based on the most up-to- date status of data extracted from local systems and submitted by NHS boards to ISD each quarter.
I am trying to be helpful because I know from the committee clerk that the deadline for considering the regulations is 27 October. Given that the recess begins on 11 October, the committee will be unable to consider the regulations further, whether we want to or not.
We are still outperforming the rest of the UK in house building in Scotland, even after the recession. The member is talking about pre-recession, private house building.
That should be acknowledged.I want to put on the record what the UK Government has done to date. It engaged with ExxonMobil for more than six months prior to the announcement.
That must be followed by the introduction of further legislation and the continuation of the robust engagement with stakeholders that there has been to date in this complex area of law. I have no doubt that, in the course of stage 2, I will be among the committee members seeking to lodge amendments to improve the bill that is before us.
