Electoral reform in Scotland and the Scottish Elections (Representation and Reform) Bill - Postponement of ordinary local elections
Rather than grant such an extensive power of delay to the EMB Convener, the Bill has deliberately limited the power of extension to a maximum of two weeks so that the power could be used to create time for the Scottish Parliament to legislate for a new election date several months ahead (should it consider this to be appropriate).

It advised that it will bring forward an amending instrument with a coming into force date of 1 April 2024, coinciding with that of the principal instrument, to remove the erroneous reference.

Scottish Budget 2024-25 - Climate change assessment of the Budget
In last year's Budget it was expected that the Climate Change Plan update and four sectoral Just Transition Plans would have been published by now (for energy, agriculture and land use, building and construction, and transport sectors). To date, only one of these Just Transition Plans has been published, for the energy sector, and it remains in draft form.

Addressing Child Poverty Through Parental Employment - Introduction
The Child Poverty (Scotland) Act 2017 set interim and final targets for child poverty.iFor further detail on the definitions of poverty, the targets and latest data see: Child Poverty update 2023
This included an interim target that 18% of children would be in relative poverty this year, 2023-24, and that this would fall to 10% by 2030, the final target date.
Latest data is for 2021-22 shows that 23% of children were in relative poverty that year.
