The Scottish Government will conduct a consultation on the guidance in Spring 2013. The target date for publication of the final version of the guidance will be determined in due course however it will be published prior to the commencement date for the 2013 Act.
To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S4W-04421 by Michael Russell on 16 December 2011, when the Student Awards Agency for Scotland became up-to-date with the processing of applications for 2011-12.

To ask the Scottish Executive for what reason the compulsory date for residential childcare workers to register with the Scottish Social Services Council was set at 30 September 2009.
The type of discussion that has been held to date, such as that which took place between Malcolm Reed and the committee at your away day in the summer recess, is indicative of the Government's determination to ensure that our officials are fully engaged in the committee's work.
