The latest Adult Disability Payment statistics show that as of 31 July 2025 there were 5,025 clients aged 16-18 in receipt of Adult Disability Payment, around 1% of the total caseload.For all age groups, the most common category of primary disabling conditions for people in receipt of Adult Disability Payment as of 31 July 2025 was Mental and Behavioural disorders (40% of the caseload), followed by Diseases of the Musculoskeletal System and Connective Tissue (24%) and Diseases of the Nervous System (7%).Official Statistics for previous years can be found on the Social Security Scotland website.
