The cabinet secretary said in response to an earlier question that 27 June was the date when she first received information about the matter—or the Scottish Government did.
Is there an onus on GPs and their staff to alert the patients who are registered at their practice to what is being rolled out and the date when that will happen? You said that there will not be a mass switch-on—how would I know that my practice was signed up to SPIRE on a particular date?
Because of the timing, that is the first issue on which we should take evidence.I fully agree with the list of issues, which covers many of the areas that we discussed before the summer recess and again at our away day. However, I would like to add a couple of issues.

If we decided to close the petition, we could write to the Scottish Government to ask it to ensure that the petitioner is kept up to date with any developments from the Scottish Government.
