In reality, redeploying the Scottish budget cannot reverse the recession. Patrick Harvie may argue that £100 million could insulate every home in Scotland, but even £34 billion will not insulate Scotland from Labour's recession.
I detect that the Government is perhaps sympathetic to the idea that the current level is, as you put it, out of date and has perhaps been overtaken by events.
How disappointed are you by that? I suggest that progress to date is not good. Are there barriers to those assessments taking place for individuals and organisations?
Will the cabinet secretary clarify whether that is what she meant by her comment about the original date? That was a reassertion of our position, which is, as it always has been, that we support the energy profits levy to its original date.
