Legislative Consent Memorandum on the Cultural Objects (Protection from Seizure) Bill (UK Legislation) - Introduction
Protection from seizure or forfeiture may last for a maximum of 12 months after the date the object entered the UK. The Bill provides that a ‘relevant authority’ may extend the maximum period of protection for a further three months.

Judged on progress: The need for urgent delivery on Scottish justice sector reforms - The Scottish Drug Deaths Taskforce
These recommendations relate to a wide range of topics that the Taskforce believe would have a positive impact on tackling the drug problem faced in Scotland and ultimately save lives. Some of these recommendations date back to April 2020.
The Committee heard that the Taskforce views its role as putting a spotlight on areas where change is required.
