Once someone has been successful in changing their gender they will be issued with a GRC and their legal sex changes.
To date, 5,583 people have legally changed their sex in the UK through the gender recognition process since 2005.
The Sub-Committee recommends that the SPA assesses whether Police Scotland’s deployment of drones to date is in accordance with law, in pursuit of a legitimate aim, and necessary.

The Defamation and Malicious Publication (Scotland) Bill was introduced in the Scottish Parliament on 2 December 2019 by Humza Yousaf, Cabinet Secretary for Justice.
The Bill was referred to the Justice Committee for Stage 1 scrutiny and the Committee issued a call for evidence on 20 September 2019, with a closing date of 15 November 2019. The Committee received 75 responses to its call for evidence and 12 supplementary responses during its Stage 1 scrutiny of the Bill.

I write in relation to the Delegated Powers and Law Reform Committee’s recent consideration of the Council Tax Reduction (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2020 (SSI 2020/25).
It will also significantly impact the work of stakeholders, including Local authorities, community groups, NGOs and land managers across Scotland.
As the date for the UK’s departure from the EU moves closer the priority must be to ensure that funding for public goods, the environment and related research, is sustained.
