To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S5W-00290 by Roseanna Cunningham on 8 June 2016, by what date the ban will be introduced. The Scottish Government is currently investigating all avenues for the best mechanism for introducing legislation proposing a ban on the use of wild animals in travelling circuses on ethical grounds.
